Made as Alile Sharon Larkin's UCLA MFA thesis film, this 51 minute drama follows a Black woman in Los Angeles who resists being seen only through the stereotyped images that surround her, part of the L.A. Rebellion tradition of Black film students at UCLA.
Fun fact: Cinematographer Charles Burnett, credited on the film, is himself a foundational L.A. Rebellion director, best known for Killer of Sheep (1978).
